Modern Male

Rule number one, don't drink a handful of beers and stay up till about one o'clock in the morning when you have a five mile run in the morning.  My alarm went off at about eight this morning and i thought about my run for a second but then ended up turning the alarm off, rolled back over and fell asleep till about ten. I have to admit i kinda felt bad about it but i was all booked up at work so i needed to be rested.

We have half and full bottles of wine and a variety of beers to choose from.  Thats my cute little station, i've got the first chair :)


My day ended up being great and I started to get all my energy back, so i was ready for a run.
After work I thought it wouldn't be so hot and sticky out still but it was.  I was still a champ and put on my lululemon, my finest workout clothes and went for a run.  BAD IDEA! I got to 2.5 miles and thought I was going to fall over and die, so made a detour and went to the parents! Gotta love A/C.

So here i go....day two of blogging, so far so good.  I have gotten my friends to start following me, thank you!!! Lets hope I can give them something good to read about. Tomorrow might be kinda hard, For my training for my half marathon I'm on 5 miles, which might not be so bad to some people but for me, well tonight i went to the DMB concert which everyone should know was so much fun!!!  Since i went out tonight and had a good time, My update on my run tomorrow might be a little rough. For everyone that is training for a half marathon  don't drink before a night you have to run. I will update everyone tomorrow on how it goes, wish me luck and thanks for all the new followers!

Getting Started

Here I am, getting pressured into starting a blog by my sister.. But I think I will eventually get used to it. I'm in the process of dedicating myself to train for my very first half marathon in October while still trying to enjoy the very occasional glass of wine.. and keep my sanity from the crazy stories I hear all day while cutting hair. I may need some help along the way, but follow along for a bumpy ride...
